His astute business acumen has made the company go from strength to strength, by expanding geographically & exponentially. It is Mr.Vinay Marathe's foresight that paved the way to MAHATech Industrial Exhibition. He created a perfect platform for the SME industry Segment to cater to their business generation needs.
Vinay Marathe was born at Chiplun, India and was brought up in Thane, India. He studied at M.H high school, Thane and enjoyed his childhood with his family, cousins and friends. He had a flair for business since childhood which resulted in selling fire crackers and kites in his vacation .Further on, he went on study at Sasmira, Worli, Mumbai. He enrolled in textile designing course and at the same time he did a business management diploma. However, destiny had different plans for him. He passed his course with flying colours but unfortunately the textile business was in the grip of recession, with most of major textile mills in Mumbai shutting down. Soon after, he joined his family business Thane Industrial directory.
This journey started with tremendous hard work and faith in God and oneself. The outcome was beginning of Maharashtra industries directory, Gujarat industries directory and later on Marathe Infotech Pvt.Ltd. After, the internet revolution the book business was converted to online business and began new journey of www.maharashtradirectory.com.
He thought of starting industrial exhibitions and soon the dream was brought to reality by starting Maha-tech, an exclusive industrial exhibition in 2004. Maha-Tech has completed a Decade of successful Trade Fairs in Pune.
Today he resides in Thane with his parents Vasant and Vasudha Marathe, wife Vaishali, Daughter Gauri and son Sumukh.
